Coco bowl Candle:
Our coco bowl candles are filled with about 14-16 ounces of coconut soy wax and will burn for more than 110 hours. FYI, if you burn your coco bowl candle in 4-hour increments as recommended, these gems will burn for over 140 hours. Always place your coco bowl affirmation candle on a surface that can be easily cleaned since your candle may leak upon the last hour of burn. Rest assured we have safely sealed our wood; however, wood does decay and we cannot guarantee a 100% leak-free coco bowl. Enjoy!

Are coconut bowl candles safe to burn?
Of course! At Affirm Candle, we pride ourselves on using environmentally safe products and procedures. Please read every card that comes with our collections.
How are coconut bowl candles different from other candles?
Coco bowl Candles are made from actual coconut shells, while most candle containers are made from glass. Even glass candle containers will crack if you do not discontinue lighting your candle once the wax reaches ¼ of an inch of the container. The same goes for Coco Bowl Affirmation Candle. Stop lighting all your candles once the wax reaches ¼ of an inch of the container that holds your candle.
How are coconut bowl candles the same as other candles?
At Affirm Candle, we use wooden wicks. Although our wicks may be of different shapes, they are all made of wood. When lighting a candle, only the wick comes in contact with the flame. The wick then comes in contact with the wax that burns, leaving behind a pleasant aroma. The flame is never in contact with the dough bowl itself as our wicks are strategically placed. All our candles use coconut soy wax! This type of wax is not only better for the environment, but also better for your health.
How do get your coconut bowl candles to look different and shine?
We use varnish over our coco bowls to protect the container, and further seal the coconut shell from water damage and rot issues. We do not use fire retardant on our coco bowls as they’re not environmentally safe and proved to be futile given our candle making process.
What can I do with my coconut bowl once my wax is done?
You can send us your bowls for a refill for only $30! More details coming soon on our refilling process. You can also wash your bowl with hot water, followed by soap to reuse the bowl. Do not worry about the wax clogging your drains as we only use soy coconut wax that melts very easily with warm water. Many cultures around the world use coconut shells to store food and eat from. Expect a wooden spoon with your coco bowl candle as they are reusable in many ways. You can also use your coconut shells around your home for decor as you see fit.
